Small Minton Majolica bamboo jardiniere & stand

Victorian, date cipher for 1872. 7ins high by 7ins wide. Small Minton Majolica jardiniere and stand molded as bamboo canes bound together with green ribbon.



Pink interior with drainage hole to base of jardiniere.



Three stilt marks and painted mark '60' to underside of jardiniere.





Three stilt marks to pink underside of stand, along with impressed 'MINTON' maker's mark, date cipher for 1872 and painted mark '60'.

Condition

Generally good. No restoration.

Jardiniere: Hairline and chip to rim.





Chip to base.



Some wear to base interior.



Limescale deposits to base exterior.





Stand: Four flakes to rim.







Some wear to interior.





Kiln effect: stained crazing to interior.
