Staffordshire sheep dogs spill vase
Victorian, circa 1860. 7.5ins high.
Staffordshire spill vase modeled as five sheep dogs under a tree, with a fence and gate to the side.
Shredded clay decoration to ground and tree.

Condition
Fair. No hairlines. No chips.
Small paint losses to markings on dogs.
Kiln effects: stained shrinkage cracks to base at front, running up onto the shredded clay ground;
some smaller shrinkage cracks to reverse;
shrinkage line along the mold join to left hand side of tree.
Old restoration of gate.
